Then this is the course for you...
2010
ABOUT THE COURSE:
This comprehensive online course covers the full range of HVAC systems used in today's facilities. It provides a complete picture of how HVAC systems operate. Systems are broken down into components for air, water, heating and air conditioning to clearly illustrate the way in which each system, subsystem, or component contributes to providing the desired indoor environment. You'll learn the factors that determine why one component or system may be chosen over another with respect to application, energy conservation, indoor air quality and cost. You’ll learn about heat flow and the heat flow calculations that are used in selecting equipment and determining system operating performance and costs.
This training is a detailed overview of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, and HVAC components. Types of HVAC systems will be discussed and illustrated HVAC systems will then be broken down into the components for air systems, water systems, heating systems, refrigeration air conditioning systems, control sstems, and electrical systems. This training gives the student a complete picture of how HVAC systems operate. It will show how each system, subsystem, or component discussed is used to provide the designed indoor environment. The reasons to use one component or system over another with respect to application, energy conservation, indoor air quality, and costs will also be brought out as components and systems are being discussed. Heat flow calculations will be used to demonstrate how equipment is selected and how to determine system operating costs. This training course is for anyone either new to the HVAC industry or need to learn more about systems and components. Energy or HVAC reps for the utility companies, government, or energy service companies, marketing or sales reps of HVAC equipment or services, industrial hygienists working with ventilation and exhaust systems, and facility managers.

The 2010 HVAC Systems Home Study Course is on CD. The course is designed to be an interactive dialog between student and instructor. Email with questions you have about Lesson subject matter. You are always encouraged to discuss any questions you have about HVAC as related to the course as well as actual on-the-job TAB, IAQ, Cx or EM.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
MS Word CD containing
Each student who completes the course and quizzes with at least a grade 70 will receive a Certificate of Completion and 1 CEU (Continuing Education Unit).
About Your Instructor:
