The 2010 CTAB Testing-Adjusting-Balancing HVAC Air and Water System Home Study Course is on Adobe PDF. After completion of each Lesson answer the questions on the quiz for that Lesson and email the answers. I will return the graded quiz with comments. When you have completed all the Lessons and have made a grade of 70 or above on each of the 15 quizzes you will receive a signed and numbered CTAB Certificate of Completion and 2 Continuing Education Units (CEU).

 As always, you are encouraged to discuss any questions you have about test and balance as related to the course as well as actual on-the-job TAB, IAQ, HVAC, Cx or EM. Email questions about Lesson subject matter or actual test and balance projects!

About Sam Sugarman:

As a certified testing-adjusting-balancing professional and a certified energy manager I work as a consultant and educator. I am the author of numerous articles, books and videos on performance testing and evaluation of HVAC systems and I have developed specialized training programs for HVAC system commissioning and optimization, air and water testing and balancing, energy management, indoor air quality testing, laboratory fume hood testing and certification, cleanroom testing and certification, and refrigerant containment.

My field experience entails 40 years of hands-on testing and evaluation of indoor environmental systems including cleanroom facilities, corporate headquarters, government facilities, high- and low-rise office complexes, hotels, hospitals, fume hood laboratories, major retail establishments, military installations, nuclear power plants, and public and private schools.

As a TAB consultant I have provided test and balance training for many organizations, including AABC, AEE, ASHRAE, NEBB, RSES, and to thousands of individuals.
